Lola’s Debut

I always dress for anything to happen. I mean, a total stranger could take your picture, well… randomly; really…  you need to be prepared. That and I love fashion and coffee, which is why I’m enjoying a cuppa right now, smiling at Oliver and Trompie, silly pets.

So while I sit in front of my fireplace, dressed in a sweater and top from Coco Design, shorts and tights from Erratic and my really cozy boots from N-Core,  I patted my hair (and smiled at my cute bear earmuffs), in the traditional relaxing exercise, arched my back, rolled my head from side to side, wiggled my arms at my side, warmed up my fingers by playing an imaginary piano and take a deep breath.  In an unconscious gesture I ran my tongue over my lower lip, feeling the piercing.. playing with it with the tip of my tongue. I need to remember this is just a story… and I’m just going to relate it, one day at a time.

I wonder if I should have kept this simple… but simple, although classic doesn’t always capture an audience. Trembling a little with excitement it all begins as I type my first word.

Summer?

It is not summer in the country I’m living in, not even close, in fact it’s raining and cold as ever. But it’s summer in Second Life so lets celebrate to summer all year round for me! Just the way I like it.

I was sitting with my picnic in my back garden at Leap of Faith, which I share my fellow sim neighbors, absorbing the sun rays, listening to the relaxing sounds of birds, waterfalls and waves breaking against rocks not far from me. To my right, one of my neighbors Jack Russell’s is on the loose and sniffing out a patch of  greens, nostrils flickering. After a few seconds of methodical investigation, he turns and unceremoniously lifts his leg. It’s not unusual behavior for a  dog but today his canine ritual is a cruel act of vandalism. Today, he ruined my parsley.
