The magic of hope and faith

Most of you know by now that I’m from South Africa, but I live in New Zealand. I have been in this wonderful, safe country for six years and its the happiest that I have ever been. New Zealand and it’s diverse people has welcomed me warmly into their hearts and arms.

However, it doesn’t matter where you are in the world, you always have your roots. The place where you were born, the place where your hearts people live. I was going back home this Christmas, however due to unfortunate circumstances I’m unable to make the trip. It’s times like these though, that you appreciate the people you love, more. I’m so grateful to have my real life friends and Second Life family and friends. At a time when there are a huge gap in my heart, you guys get me through it with a smile on my face, instead of a tear on my cheek.
