I am making the most of my Easter weekend, and enjoying it so much. One of the things I have been doing is permitting myself some luxuries, like scrolling through Flickr while I lay all snuggley in bed. But I had to get up as the sun was out for the first time in weeks, so I took the opportunity to take Oliver (the pooch) for a run. He was feeling a little frustrated by being inside day in and day out. The feeling of sun shining on my face was so revitalizing.

With both of us totally content and vitamin D loaded, I logged in to have a browse though all the current events, and man.. there are many. I ended up at The Theme Park and loved the decor, so yes, you guessed it.. I had to take a selfie. I was wondering what to write about, when I decided to use Ol’ Mr Google. So I googled (they should make this an official word, by the way) “random topic to blog about” and I stumbled upon a “topic generator”. This was useful , but probably not for my blog. I’m not sure people actually reading my “fashion blog” want to read about my views on Adolph Hitler, although I’m sure it will generate tons of comments. Good and bad! The past months, I have been catching myself complaining that I just don’t have enough hours in my day. That if I had more free time I would not be Jack of all Trades, Master of None, but actually be a master of something! Then I also realized that when I do have free time, I don’t use it productively, hence not mastering anything anyway. So maybe I must just change my attitude and not look at what still needs to be done as a negative, but as an opportunity to enjoy the ride.

So to this end, I have enrolled in another course to improve my Photoshop skills,  bought more English books to read and lean the language.  I planned three weekends away for the year. Invited more people to my friends lists, RL and SL. Applied for another job and re-looked at my exercise regime. Yoga here I come.. soon I’ll be able to reach my ears with my toes (not sure if I’ll break something) and I’m planning on being a very happy busy bee.. who cares about being a master! I’m going to live my life in the width and have fun along the way.

On my mind

I want to tell you about two things today. One, is actually just a reminder of the last week of the Atooly, Fist Pump hunt. Sweet Leonard is also part of this hunt and Luna made this cute flower necklace and ring that is totally free. So worth it. Hope you have done the hunt already!

Thennnn.. the second thing I want to talk about is a new event that starts on the 25th July and its running to the 11th August. The event is called Love Donna Flora. Squinternet Larnia is the owner of Donna Flora, and while you may not know her personally, I’m sure you will have some of her items in your inventory. Recently Cajsa Lilliehook informed people on Pluck that Squinternet has been battling breast cancer that metastisized to her bones since 2011 and was not doing well at all. She urgently needs help with nursing and other medical expenses. So some designers came together and decided to do this event in an effort to help Squinternet. The designers has done a great job and I am so honored to be part of this, even only as a blogger. I will definitely be supporting the event as well.
